Kings Of Leon Mechanical Bull Debuts at Number One

Kings of Leon's sixth studio album, Mechanical Bull, has debuted at Number one on the ARIA Allbum Chart. The album was released through Sony Music Entertainment on September 20th, 2013.  Angelo Petraglia produced the album, which was recorded at the band's studio in Nashville, TN.

Kings of Leon will be returning to Australia in November to celebrate the release of their new album, descend on Sydney Harbour for an exclusive performance for Channel [V], Triple M and Sony Music.

The iconic Sydney Harbour will play host to the rock royalty on Monday, November 18 for the gig of the year. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, the Kings - brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, with their cousin Matthew - will bring their signature raw style to Sydney as they perform songs from their new album, Mechanical Bull as well as their biggest hits.

Fans have already had a taste of the new material from the Grammy Award-winners with -Supersoaker' and -Wait For Me' taking the country by storm, and when you team that with the likes of -Sex On Fire', -Radioactive' and -Charmer' it's guaranteed to be a night of a raucous pure, southern-fried rock. The only way fans can be there for this exclusive, money-can't-buy event is by winning tickets through Channel [V] and Triple M.

Kings Of Leon can't wait for the show either with drummer, Nathan Followill saying, 'We're so exciting to be coming back to Australia to play on Sydney Harbour for Channel [V] and Triple M. We can't wait to see all our fans come out and have some fun with us - we'll drink a beer or two!"
