Brazilian Headpieces
Fashion a flamboyant headpiece with feathers, stars, sequins and glitter inspired by the world's biggest Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. The Rio de Janeiro Carnaval involves a four day public celebration. People dance and sing throughout the streets and squares, bars and clubs and the whole event culminates in a parade known as a Samba Parade.
Time: 10am to 5pm

Venetian Masks
Disguise yourself for the Venetian Carnevale masquerade with a multi-coloured Arlecchino mask held with a baton. The tradition of mask wearing in Venice dates back to the fourteenth century. Historically, people were allowed to wear them for months between the festival of Santo Stefano (26th December) and midnight on Shrove Tuesday (in February or March).
Time: 10am to 5pm

Haitian Rara Tambourines
During rural Kanaval street processions in Haiti, groups sing and play Rara music with homemade and often unique instruments. Rara bands cross the countryside on Sundays following Ash Wednesday building up to an Easter Week festival with dancing, songs, cracking whips and beating drums. Make and shake your own special tambourine.
Time: 10am to 5pm
