Set at an elite English boarding school, the series follows eight students trying to solve the hidden mystery behind Anubis house, named after an old Egyptian God and rumoured to be haunted.

The adventure begins when Nina Martin arrives to the school only to realise that Joy mysteriously disappears the same day without a trace. Using secret passages and staircases, Nina along with her English schoolmates, tries to unravel the secret of the house and discover what happened to Joy whilst dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years.
