Acclaimed Canadian pop singer/songwriter Hannah Georgas has her highly anticipated third studio album For Evelyn streaming all week on global taste-making touchstone Consequence Of Sound ahead of the album release this Friday, 24 June. The record comes off the back of lead single -Don't Go', which has received widespread appreciation with Australian audiences, clocking over 250K listens online and achieving national airplay on triple j and community radio.
Her most ambitious and personal record yet, For Evelyn is named after her 98 year-old grandmother, who has been a lifelong inspiration to Georgas as she has struggled with her own personal battles with fear and anxiety. The album takes you on a dynamic journey, with producer Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck adding depth to Hannah's compositions and striking lyricism.
Since her debut, Georgas has won numerous awards and nominations for her immaculate songwriting and excellent performance skills. Having shared the international stage with acts such as City and Colour and Sara Bareilles, she and is currently touring the US with Australian indie outfit Boy & Bear. Georgas' Hype Machine topping single -Millions' was featured in HBO's award winning series -Girls' and her global stature continues to grow.
