Fashionistas will be putting their best fashion foot forward to claim their share of the total prize pool of over $50,000, including an exclusive styling session from Harrolds, fully flexible Economy Class return tickets from Sydney to any of Emirates' 40 destinations in Europe, cash prizes, Gold Class Cinema Vouchers and accommodation and dining at The Star.

Interview with DJ Brooke Evers

Question: How are you celebrating spring?

DJ Brooke Evers: I love the smell of spring in Australia. The weather is heating up and the excitement of summer is just around the corner!

Question: What do you love about Spring Racing?

DJ Brooke Evers: The vibe is electric, everyone is smiling and enjoying the festivities. Moët and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day is so glamorous. I love the fashion and seeing everyone revelling in the excitement of the day.

Question: What will you be wearing during the Spring Racing season?

DJ Brooke Evers: This Saturday at the Moët and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day, I'll be wearing a stunning jumpsuit.

Question: How can we have the Ultimate Race Day this Moët and Chandon Champion Stakes Day?

DJ Brooke Evers: I'm all about preparation the night before to make the most of the day. Make sure you know exactly what you are wearing and lay it out so you are ready to take on the day. For the ladies, I recommend a very comfy pair of heels. Also, jump on the website at theraces.com.au and check out where everything is taking place and who is performing on the day – there's so much happening you want to make the most of it!

Question: Where do you find inspiration when creating a DJ set?

DJ Brooke Evers: Most of my inspiration comes from the energy at the venue where I'm playing. I don't like to really overprepare my sets as they can change at any moment and it all comes down to who you're playing for, but I really love to play old-school 90s' hits.

Question: What songs should we have on our pre-Moët and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day playlist?

DJ Brooke Evers: There are some really dope playlists on Spotify that get you pumped up. I follow them pre-gig or when I'm getting ready for an event. Anything from Beyoncé, Lauren Hill, Drake, Cardi B or even my favourite band, Blink-182.

Question: Can you tell us about "Turn Around"?
DJ Brooke Evers: "Turn Around" is my latest single with the amazing Rachel West and Glen Faria on the vocals. We produced the song in LA close to a year ago and my entire vision was to create a sexy Moombahton/Latin track that girls will love to dance to.

Question: What's next, for you?

DJ Brooke Evers: The rest of the year I'll be flying between the USA and Australia, DJ'ing and also finishing off some tracks in my studio in LA. Then the next thing you know it's Christmas!
