Interview with Brittney Lee Saunders

Question: Can you tell us about the Primed to Party Beauty Weekend?

Brittney Lee Saunders: One of my favourite shopping centre's in Brisbane, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is throwing the ultimate beauty weekend and I am honoured to be the official ambassador and special guest! I'll be doing a Q&A and meet and greet on Saturday October 20th from 10:00am – 12:00pm. There will also be a bunch of free activities and offers across the two-day event running Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st October including beauty bars, hand massages, FREE glitter champagne and fairy floss to name a few! I'm super excited about it!


Question: Can you share some of the top beauty tips for summer that you'll be sharing at this event?

Brittney Lee Saunders: I think this summer is going to be all about bare/fresh skin with lots of glow! I feel like we've seen almost a little too much of the 'full glam' looks over the last year and now everyone is really getting into the more natural, youthful looks!


Question: What will we see you wearing, this spring and summer?

Brittney Lee Saunders: I'm definitely a flowy skirt kind of girl! I Iove anything light, breezy and comfortable in the Aussie weather.


Question: What products do we need to create long-lasting makeup even during the upcoming sweaty months?

Brittney Lee Saunders: A good setting powder for girls who have naturally oily skin is a must have. I also swear by the Urban Decay setting spray, it's amazing!


Question: What's a typical day like, for you, currently?

Brittney Lee Saunders: Honestly, every day is completely different! My clothing label FAYT keeps me super busy, so I'm usually working in the warehouse 5-7 hours a day Monday to Friday! In between doing that I find time to film videos and take pics for the gram! No two days are the same as I also get amazing opportunities like the Primed to Party Beauty Weekend and that's what I love most about what I do!


Question: How do you choose what to and what not to share on social media?
Brittney Lee Saunders: I think it all comes naturally to be honest! I don't really put too much thought into it, if I'm thinking I just jump on my stories and say it!


Question: What originally inspired you to begin a YouTube channel?

Brittney Lee Saunders: My love for making videos started when I was about 10years old! So, when YouTube came out I guess it happened naturally.


Question: How do you continue to ensure you're providing your loyal following with captivating videos?

Brittney Lee Saunders: I don't think I really have this thought process, I just try to be consistent posting every week and keeping everyone up to date with what's going on in my life. At the end of the day, that's what they're subscribed for!


Question: Can you tell us about what's next for your clothing label, Fayt?

Brittney Lee Saunders: We've recently just stepped into the accessories and sunglasses world which is really exciting! I don't want to give too much away, but I'm hoping to launch another swim range this season.


Question: What's on for the rest of the year, for you, personally and professionally?

Brittney Lee Saunders: I'm so excited to be attending the Primed to Party Beauty Weekend held at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, so if you're in Brissy (or nearby) come along with the girls and enjoy some free champs and chat with me about all things beauty and YouTube. Aside from my trip up north, just the same as always really! Working away, spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family!
