Ppomare was a finalist in the 2018 Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards and nominated in the 2019 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards as a "Rising Star of the Year." In 2022, 2023, and 2024, she won the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards for Family Law, and in 2023 and 2024 she earned her place in the Women in Law Awards, "Partner of the Year"SME." She was also named in the 2024 top fifty women in the Australian legal profession by Australasian Lawyer.

"Suddenly, I was living the emotional rollercoaster I had only observed professionally " balancing sleepless nights, legal knowledge, and the overwhelming desire to protect my child's sense of stability and love," says Pomare. "In those raw early days, I realized just how vital a practical, compassionate guide would be for parents like me " and that's when the idea for this book took root.
