2023 International Cake Show Australia

2023 International Cake Show Australia

OPENING FRIDAY: The International Cake Show Australia

Brisbane April 14 to 16

UK and US Cake Royalty flying in, and record entries from across the country plus New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Bali, Indonesia and the Philipines!

Forget Picasso, Monet, and Warhol – the best kind of art is the kind you can eat! From THIS Friday to Sunday, the world's leading edible cake artists and decorators are heading to Brisbane to show off their talents and compete in arguably the greatest competition there is – the 2023 International Cake Show Australia!

Celebrity cake sculptor Karen Portaleo is making the trip from the USA, joining ex-air force helicopter pilot, now UK TV personality and extreme caker, Rosie Dummer who shot to fame for creating the life size edible Paddington Bear as a tribute to the late Queen.

The 2020 International Cake Show Australia (ICSA) will be held at the RNA Royal International Convention Centre in Bowen Hills from April 14 to 16, with tickets on sale now at acada.com.au

International Cake Show Australia CEO, Joan McDermott said there was a record number of competitor registrations with entries from across the country plus New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Bali, Indonesia and the Philipines!

"There's no other competition including Ekka or the Sydney Royal Easter Show that has anywhere near this number of cake or cookie decorating entries. We've had to call in the whole stewarding team from the Toowoomba Royal Show to help us cope with judging!"

This year the show is double its previous size and features not only mind-boggling, gravity-defying sculptured cakes and sugar exhibits, but also baking, cookies and everything sweet, making the event officially Australia's largest Cake, Bake, Sweet & Cookie Show.

***SPECIAL DISCOUNT OFFER: enter the DISCOUNT CODE "ICSA-2-4-1" and purchase 2 tickets for the price of 1!

And remember, kids under 12 are free!

"The event is a brilliant cross between food, design, colour and competition. The International Cake Show Australia is open to the public and is all about creating magic, defying possibilities and breaking boundaries. For the millions who watch Cake Boss and follow the hundreds of thousands of edible artists on social media, this event is the penultimate experience, and to have it staged here in Brisbane as the national showpiece is certainly a coup for the city," said Joan.
