Z-Star Delta The Lost Boy Tour

Z-Star Delta The Lost Boy Tour

Are the rumours true?

Yes, it appears that Zee's love affair with Australia knows no bounds. Z-STAR DELTA, the much sought-after explosive soul rock duo, are back for another scorching tour. If you love The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Gossip or The White Stripes, you're going to fall head over heels with these guys.

It's not surprising that word of mouth is spreading like wild fire. There's only two of them on stage but they've got everything you want – and then some! Insane stage presence. Songs which travel through the shadows and into the light; intense, political, emotional, intimate, uplifting and downright liberating. With powerful tribal grooves, catchy raucous riffs, and that voice. Soulful, sensuous, raw and edgy.

It's all or nothing for the high priestess of the blues. Award-winning Zee Gachette sings from the depths of her soul with wild abandon, and drums like there's no tomorrow. It's intoxicating and exciting to bear witness to such fearless authenticity. One moment seductive and poetic, the next powerful and fierce.

And it's this innate passion that's given rise to Zee's world class performances (as a soloist, with her blues rock band Z-STAR, or electro-soul outfit SLOWTRAINSOUL) on the most prestigious stages; from Glastonbury to the Royal Albert Hall in London, from Whisky A Go Go in LA to Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the Berlin Philharmonic just to name a few. Impressing many a music legend along the way, from Jimmy Page, to Roger Daltrey and Amy Winehouse. And now arguably one of the hottest new duos around are set to follow the same trajectory; Z-STAR DELTA are destined for a very bright future.

Brazilian sidekick Diogenes Baptisttella, best known as lead guitarist of Z-STAR (the 5P band, aka the Mothership), will be joining Zee for -The Lost Boy Tour' which kicks off in Victoria at -Blues at The Briars Festival' on 24th February, ending at -Mullum Drill Hall' in Mullumbimby on Sat 28th April.

'Lost Boy' is the opening track on ZD's -Face The Iron Ram' limited edition tour album available to buy on CD/Digital exclusively at gigs. And although many of these raw live studio recordings have already garnered attention from Triple J, PBS, ABC, Radio Adelaide, Koori and 4ZZZ; Z-STAR DELTA's official debut release is yet to come. So watch out for their adaptation of the cult shock rock classic -I Put A Spell On You (Z-Star Delta Version)' – out this Autumn!

Zee Gachette is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, performer and producer. It all started with busking on the streets of London. Since then, she's had two major label global deals, a plethora of license deals, music on hit TV series, European films, adverts and games. Now Zee runs an independent label and recording studio with her partner, producing her own projects – including Z-STAR's forthcoming new album '16 Tons of Love' – as well as other UK artists.
