Galactic Nights: The Cube

Galactic Nights is a music series exploring the outer realms of space, in celebration of the Star Voyager exhibition. Featuring artists whose music evokes interplanetary joy and universal foot-tapping, Galactic Nights will explore cosmic space with the catchiest electronics and folk melodics this side of the Milky Way. All sessions feature space-themed visuals by Blake Byron-Smith (Two Bright Lakes) and light-fantastic tunes by DJ Simon Winkler (Triple R).

Hear artists and curators from the Star Voyager exhibition speak about their work, then be guided to the Melbourne Observatory by an expert from the Astronomical Society of Victoria, who will conduct a demonstration of the telescope and give audience members a rare sight of the moons and storms of Jupiter. Presented in partnership with the Royal Botanical Gardens, Melbourne. Ticket price includes entry to the Star Voyager exhibition, panel talk and tour of the Melbourne Observatory.
