The Bearded Bakers bring Knafeh to Norwest

The Bearded Bakers bring Knafeh to Norwest

The all-singing, all-dancing Bearded Bakers are coming back to their home town and bringing their pop-up Knafeh bakery to Norwest on Sunday 10 February.

The Bearded Bakers travelling shipping container bakery and cast of baking performers will be coming to The Hills to help celebrate completion of the first stage of The Orchards by Sekisui House, which will be welcoming its first residents this Summer.

The Bearded Bakers, one of Sydney's most popular pop-up food experiences and performance groups, have made the traditional Middle Eastern dessert knafeh famous in the Harbour City. Knafeh is a sweet cheese-based dessert not dissimilar to crème brulee, topped with pistachios and served to crowds of thousands wherever the travelling bakery pops up.

The Bearded Bakers will be joined by other local businesses to help celebrate completion of the first stage of The Orchards Masterplanned residential community, overlooking the Castle Hill Country Club. The Sunday afternoon event is free to attend.
