Bottomless barista-brewed coffee, puppy cuddles, gourmet food and some of the biggest names in the world of digital and social strategy. This is what you can expect at State of Social '20, Australia's biggest, brightest and brainiest digital and social media marketing event.
Everything you thought you knew about social will be turned on its head with a list of thoughtprovoking thought leaders on the first day, followed by a series of stimulating seminars to supercharge your digital and social strategies on day two.
So who's on the bill at State of Social '20?
State of Social are thrilled to announce a trifecta of speaking talent for this year's event. First up on the roster, being awarded #1 Voice in Marketing multiple times, Tom Goodwin will be sharing his insights into emerging technologies, behaviours and platforms.
Social marketing maverick, Matthew Kobach will talk about his work for The New York Stock Exchange, partnering with brands like Ferrari, McDonalds, Coca-Cola and Disney. You will learn how he has generated hundreds of thousands of followers and how you can create content your audience will find irresistible.
Finally, Instagram icon, Jenn Herman will be speaking on day one and doing a whole Instagram workshop on day two. She will be sharing how to get on the front foot with the latest Instagram trends and how you can create your own Insta lead generation and sales strategies; from setting up a profile and creating content that maximises conversions, to Stories and IGTV tactics.
Tom, Matthew and Jenn are just the first big-name, big-brain speakers on the rollcall of digital marketing royalty for State of Social '20, with more international heavyweight speakers to be announced. Stay tuned!
And did someone say puppies?
Yes, yes they did. The Dog's Refuge Home is back at State of Social, so you can cuddle a furry little friend for a good cause. Gold coin donations will be accepted during the event so you can enjoy a lunchtime nuzzle with the Home's snuggliest sooks, while saving four-legged friends at the same time. If you fall in love with the pawfect puppy on the day, you can go through the adoption process at the event and take your furry little family member home with you.
The best part is that you'll be supporting the Dog's Refuge just by booking your State of Social ticket, with a pawtion of proceeds going back to the charity to support the amazing work they do in rehoming hundreds of abandoned puppies and dogs from across Western Australia.
Last year, State of Social raised $3,000 for the Dogs Refuge Home and this year they hope to raise even more.
