Multi-talented (and beautiful, let's face it!) comedian, actor, triple j presenter and musician Matt Okine will be hosting the ABC TV series tie-in to Short Cuts to Glory, working alongside some of Australia's best known and up-and-coming food stars who'll be sharing their ultimate versions of kitchen staples and classic recipes, from omelettes and egg and bacon rolls to rissoles, roasts and gravies.

Okine, who hails from Brisbane, has been a regular on several TV shows, including ABC TV's It's a Date and Dirty Laundry Live and SBS's Legally Brown. He performs sell-out national tours of his live shows year in, year out, and supports international acts including Dave Chappelle and Chelsea Handler.

Matt has scooped some major awards in recent years, including the prestigious Director's Choice Award at the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival for his very personal show The Other Guy. Following the success of the live stand-up show, TV channel Stan announced The Other Guy as one of its new and original productions for 2017. Matt launched his career by becoming a national triple j RAW finalist in 2004, at the age of 18, after only three previous gigs – all of which were part of the competition.
