Melbourne Christmas Festival:

From Friday 29 November to Wednesday 25 December the City of Melbourne will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland, featuring a very merry line-up of entertainment and events for all ages.

This year's festival will be bigger and better than ever, kicking off with the iconic lighting of the 16-metre Christmas tree in Federation Square on 29 November and with returning festive favourites including the mesmerising Christmas Projections, Santa's House and the delicious Gingerbread Village by Epicure.

Now in its 18th year, the City of Melbourne Christmas Festival aims to celebrate Melbourne's vibrant culture in new and inclusive ways and are excited to announce the addition of the free outdoor Christmas Cinema every Saturday at Carlton's Argyle Square as well as the brand-new Christmas Collective, which showcases local businesses through a unique series of Christmas inspired markets, masterclasses and pop-up events.
