Set in a sprawling 2.5 acre indoor village, with 13 huge zones and 3 live stages, where kids from 2 to 12 years can witness an imaginative world of interactive arts, hands-on workshops, live entertainment and some of Australia's best children's performers.

It's easy to see how this Victorian event has grown to be recognised as Australia's best, with an impressive line-up catering to kids of all ages and varying interests. The festival turns 13 this year, and it looks like they've planned an extravaganza of activities and entertainment for kids of all ages.

There will be live performances by Australia's Got Talent winners Justice Crew, the iconic 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson, The Fairies, Australia's leading female star of magic, Cath Jamieson, jaw dropping astounding tricks of strength by Circus Tricktease, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Shrekand everyone's favourite Dorothy the Dinosaur.

This year's festival promises to provide unique and fun experiences for the young and young at heart. There will be kids cooking workshops, make your own designer apron, tenpin bowling, woodwork, building a life size jungle with creatures great and small, clay animation workshops, hands-on-fun for pre-schoolers, active kids will love the swordfighting, African dance and drumming, dance workshops, and aerobics commando style with Kam-o-kidz plus a whole host of inventive workshops running all day, every day.

Launched in 1998, the Fun4Kids Festival was conceived with the aim of celebrating the imagination and creative spirit of all children. It has been awarded the highest honours in the Australian Tourism Industry, being inducted into the National Hall of Fame after consecutive wins at the prestigious Qantas Australian Tourism Awards 2006, 2007, 2008; and crowned Best Community Event at the 2009 & 2010 Australian Event Awards.
