Following two sold out tours, From Broadway to La Scala returns with a bigger and even more exciting line up. Six of Australia's finest voices – Teddy Tahu Rhodes, David Hobson, Caroline O'Connor, Emma Matthews, Alexander Lewis and Genevieve Kingsford - come together to perform 34 of the greatest songs of all time across opera and musical theatre. From Puccini to Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bizet to Gershwin, Verdi to Cole Porter, Bernstein and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this bi-annual concert event is renowned for its world-class presentation of the greatest songs, arias and duets of the last two centuries.

Performing in the 2019 season of From Broadway To La Scala are six acclaimed, contemporary singers including the magnificent award winning lyric coloratura soprano Emma Matthews, greatly loved tenor David Hobson, acclaimed bass-baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes, West End/Broadway star Caroline O'Connor and the brilliant young Australian tenor Alexander Lewis, who recently has won acclaim for his portrayal of Tony in Opera Australia's hugely successful West Side Story, the most popular Handa Opera On Sydney Harbour to date.
They will be joined by emerging artist Genevieve Kingsford, who is fast becoming one of Australia's most sought-after musical theatre discoveries, having already starred in Brigadoon for The Production Company and appeared alongside Anthony Warlow and Gina Riley in Sweeney Todd.
