Kids will be entertained and educated these school holidays with the Questacon Science Squad performing live during the first week of the January holidays, Monday 4 - Friday 8 January 2010, at Centro Bankstown.

Intriguing 30-minute live shows, which will be held twice daily in Centre Court, will capture the attention of children and parents alike with spectacular and fascinating science demonstrations. Combining humour and drama with incredible experiments and facts, the Science Squad performers interact with audience members and encourage scientific curiosity. A liquid nitrogen volcano will erupt before the crowd's eyes, volunteers will be able to participate in a balloon bonanza race, and a brave individual will be given the chance to step inside a giant bubble.

Week two of the holidays will be jam-packed with Australian Wildlife Displays, Monday 11 – Friday 15 January.

Centre Court will be transformed into a wildlife wonderland with a ringtail possum, saltwater crocodile, flying fox, python, big green tree frog and other reptile friends. Educational shows will run three times daily and enlighten kids with facts about Australia's wildlife. Audience members will then have a chance to get hands-on with the animals with an interactive session after each show.

The performances will provide fantastic FREE school holiday entertainment these January school holidays!
