It's a case of east meets west on Sunday, 14 February when Chinese New Year- the 'Year of the Tiger' - clashes with the international day of lovers, Valentines Day. In a seemingly fitting coincidence, those born in the Year of the Tiger are referred to as the 'perfect partners' by the Chinese.

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, David's will hold special dining sessions, with mouth-watering new menu options, on Saturday evening, 13 February, kicking off festivities with lion dancing at 7.00pm.

New dishes to tempt the tastebuds will include: Ancient Smoked Fish; Chicken Coriander Salad; Sweet Chilli Cod; Wuxi Pok Ribs; Bao Ling Mushroom and Bean Curd; and Tempting Honey Dates.

Owner of David's and Oriental Teahouse, acclaimed restaurateur David Zhou is looking forward to celebrating the beginning of another Chinese New Year at the much-coveted restaurant, located off Chapel Street.
