The Melbourne Music Week and Face The Music partnership also see some of Melbourne's most important music cultural policy makers and educators discuss Melbourne's diverse and dynamic live music culture and how we protect it amidst an increasing populations, urban development, issues and legislation; plus some of the city's most influential music bookers will reveal what they are looking for when allocating prime nights to bands! The Live Landscape session hosted by Jaymz Clements (triple j magazine) will feature nine booking agents: Sarah Guppy (Revolver), Paris Martine (Phoenix Public House, Grace Darling Hotel), Mary Mihelakos (Yah Yahs), Andy Moore (Pony), Anita Nedeljkovic (Way Over There), Amanda Palmer (The Tote), Darve Smith (Ding Dong Lounge), Emily Ulman (Toff in Town) and James Young (Cherry Bar); while the Sounds of the City session, hosted by Dobe Newton (The Bushwackers Band, NMIT) will gather together Ben Eltham (Freelance Writer, Journalist, Researcher and Creative Producer), Doctor Kate Shaw (University of Melbourne), Professor Rob Adams (City of Melbourne) and Associate Professor Shane Homan (Monash University).
