The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) spotlights Dan Sultan in October's Desert Island Flicks event, where the award-winning singer-songwriter will reveal his to his top five films of all time.

Sultan has earned a legion of fans playing his distinctive blend of country, soul and rock 'n' roll, becoming a much loved fixture of the Australian music landscape in the process.

Growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, Sultan started playing guitar at the tender age of four and wrote his first song at the age of ten. Little did he know that years later his debut single would win Single Release of the Year at the 2007 Deadly Awards and be played on airwaves across the country.
