Arts House presents Collecting Fireworks, a visceral and engaging work from UK-based director, Helen Cole. One at a time, audience members are taken through an intimate installation in which tales of remarkable performances are whispered in the darkness.

Anonymous voices speak of ghost trains and fairgrounds, violence and accidents, adolescence and lonely encounters.

Participants are then invited to donate their own performance memories to the collection, and weave their stories with the ghosts of hundreds of others in an act of mass remembrance. Blurring the line between actor and audience, the anonymous contributions to Collecting Fireworks then re-emerge again and again in a series of large-scale installations, print and on-line projects developed across continents over forthcoming years.
