Miami-based singer-songwriter and label founder AZSH (pronounced "Ash") is back with a vibrant new single, "Cool to Be Kind" " a groove-forward, soul-infused anthem reminding listeners that kindness isn't weakness; it's a power move.
Pairing a laid-back retro groove with warm vocals and emotionally resonant lyrics, Cool to Be Kind delivers a timely message: honoring our differences and leading with empathy is not only possible " it's powerful. Produced by O.I.AM8 and released on AZSH's artist-owned imprint Empty Bus Records, the single blends Pop, Soul, Funk Pop, and Afro Pop influences into her signature "Miami Pop" sound.
"This song is a reminder that empathy doesn't mean shrinking yourself," AZSH says. "It means stepping up, tuning in, and showing up for each other " and doing it with joy."
The accompanying music video, filmed on location in Miami Beach, amplifies the track's message through sunlit visuals and grounded, expressive performance " showcasing the cool confidence that comes with authenticity.

Her recent adult-contemporary crossover On My Way showcases her vocal maturity while staying rooted in soul.
AZSH's growing catalog is matched by her expressive visuals " from the sleek performance of Cool to Be Kind to the stirring interpretive dance in Hope on the Horizon, and the quirky, Tarantino-esque narrative in Like That. With over a dozen self-released singles, global radio support, and concerts on the horizon, AZSH is cultivating more than a sound " she's building a movement rooted in self-expression, joy, and hope.
