The girl in this rarely-seen movie is none other than Italian superstar Claudia Cardinale, who answers a lonely hearts ad and comes to Australia to marry an Italian migrant (Alberto Sordi). Unfortunately his old-fashioned values, mired in an Italy that is long gone, clash with her more modern ways.
