The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) will screen a selection of First Peoples cinema direct from the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Curated by Jesse Wente, Ojibway of the Serpent River First Nation and Head of Film Programmes at TIFF Bell Lightbox; a selection of six films from his recent program First Peoples Cinema: 1500 Nations, One Tradition, comes to ACMI for an exclusive 12 day season.

Showing at ACMI is: Patu!, Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance, Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner, Busong, The Orator (O le tulafale) and On the Ice.
