This year you can take a tour of Melbourne's streets with a homeless person, stand on a roof and watch a performance pass by on a tram, or with just a couple of other people in a taxi. There are performances in a tent in Brunswick, a house in Fitzroy, a hotel room, a subway and St Paul's Cathedral, and in theatres, pubs, galleries and clubs all over Melbourne.

A highlight will be Atlas, where three local artists undertake a very public challenge to create, install and engage an audience in an ongoing exploration of place, identity and locality. Benjamin Ducroz, Kieran Swann and Kit Webster have spent the past three months in workshops with leading arts practitioners to embrace the emerging, live, spectator-as-performer artform.
