Run Melbourne

Melbourne's premier winter charity running event, The Age Run Melbourne, presented by People's Choice is back and taking place this year on Sunday, 26 July 2015.

From the start line at the Arts Centre to the finish at Birrarung Marr, the event will provide runners and walkers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to take in and experience some of Melbourne's key CBD landmarks and iconic locations.

Since beginning in 2008, The Age Run Melbourne has raised more than $8.9 million for more than 450 different charities across Australia.

With an ambitious 2015 fundraising target of $2.2 million to take the total amount raised to a whopping $10 million, participants are urged to sign up now, begin fundraising for their chosen charity and use The Age Run Melbourne as an opportunity to give back to their communities.

Participants are invited to take on the city in one of the following events:
5km run/walk
10km run
Brooks Half-Marathon
3.5km People's Choice PJs Run
3km Kids Run – This event will take place on Saturday, 25 July at 10am (children under 14 only)

Whether participating to raise funds for a charity, running to beat a personal best or taking on the challenge of a Half-Marathon, the streets of Melbourne will come alive with all of the colour, music and atmosphere that Run Melbourne is famed for.
