Rabbit Hole Kids Playcentre is inviting everyone to come and play in their PJ's on Friday 20th July to celebrate National Pyjama Day.

Rabbit Hole, one of the largest play centres in the Southern Hemisphere, is encouraging all kids and adults to come to the centre on Friday 20th July in their PJ's and help raise awareness of the work The Pyjama Foundation does in the local community. The centre will be donating 10% of its profits from that day to The Pyjama Foundation and there will be
donation buckets for visitors to also make a donation.

National Pyjama Day was created by The Pyjama Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that gives children in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives with learning, life skills and confidence.

Kosta Dokolas, Rabbit Hole's Centre Manager said: "We're really excited to be supporting The Pyjama Foundation and partnering with them for National Pyjama Day. The Pyjama Foundation does incredible work in supporting children in foster care by giving them the opportunity to learn life skills and build their confidence and we want to help raise awareness of their mission and raise as many funds as possible for this worthy cause.

"At Rabbit Hole, we are committed to supporting communities, groups and charities that are important to our customers or make a valuable difference to the lives of children and their families. This National Pyjama Day, we're encouraging children to express themselves through imaginative play and what better way to do this than in your PJ's!"

The Pyjama Foundation's mission is to create positive relationships for every Australian child in care. Founder, Bronwyn Sheehan, said the number of foster children is continuing to grow every year and without extra support, empowerment and encouragement, many of the children's futures will be compromised.

"Currently there are more than 51,000 children in foster care, and statistics show that approximately 32,250 of these children will not complete high school," she said.

"Many children in care bounce from home to home, and to different schools which greatly hinders their learning. At The Pyjama Foundation we recruit, screen and train volunteer mentors before we carefully match them with a child in care.

"Together, they focus on learning-based activities and games, with the aim of improving the child's educational outcomes and confidence."

Rabbit Hole Kids Playcentre is the brainchild of four Melbourne-based parents who are kids at heart themselves. The multi-million dollar facility, spread over 2,550sqm, allows families to enjoy magical moments together in a wonderland setting with endless opportunities to explore something new and exciting upon every visit.

Comprising multi-functional spaces, party rooms, a disco room, cooking school, and an indoor rock climbing wall, this next generation purpose-built indoor playground with modern quality interiors has been designed to stimulate imagination, encourage exploration and foster creativity through play.

Rabbit Hole's multiple themed areas offer a range of unique and engaging play elements. Aspiring astronauts will be sure to love Space World while water babies will feel right at home in Sea World. For nature lovers there is The Forest, while the acrobatically inclined can show off their circus skills at the Carnival and foodies can realise their gastronomical dreams in the Cooking School.
