This debut book series is based on episodes from a new animated television show, which will air on PBS Sprout in the USA starting April 2012 and on Disney Junior in Canada starting September 2012. All aboard! Justin and his pal Squidgy imagine themselves behind the wheel of a classic steam train, delivering important cargo for their friend Olive.

But they discover it's not easy getting through the Canadian wilderness. Will their barrel of maple syrup make it to Flap Jack Falls in time for the Pancake Festival? Never give up!

Brandon James Scott is an artist and designer that works in a variety of fields including illustration, graphic design, books, animation, and fine art.

His passion for creating characters and stories and his creative experience in the field of animation leads most of his work towards imaginative and whimsical storytelling.

Brandon is currently working at Guru Studio, where he is the creator and art director of Justin Time, an animated series in production of its second season. He is the co-creator/art director of the Squidgy iPhone app, and art director of the Justin Time interactive website and related apps.

History and travel inspire creator Brandon Scott to stoke kids' imaginations. "I love the idea of seeing all these cultures and places and, as a preschool show, exposing little kids to some of this exciting stuff like different countries and different cultures, giving them a taste for it," said Scott. "It could be very cool and important. Maybe later when they're learning about it in school they'll remember seeing it in an episode of Justin Time."
