JOHNSON'S® baby celebrates 50 years of NO MORE TEARS®

2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the much-loved JOHNSON'S® baby NO MORE TEARS® trade mark. To celebrate in Australia, JOHNSON'S® baby are launching a commemorative children's book titled The NO MORE TEARS™ Wiggle Giggle Bath Book, with all proceeds being donated to Barnardos Australia.

JOHNSON'S® baby revolutionised the shampoo category in the early 1950s by launching the first shampoo that didn't irritate the delicate eyes of babies and toddlers. Since then the NO MORE TEARS® logo has appeared on 19 JOHNSON'S® baby cleansing products, all of which have undergone lengthy clinical testing to meet the Johnson & Johnson high standards of mildness. JOHNSON'S® baby has provided generations of mums with clinically proven products that are pure, mild and gentle on babies' skin and hair, delivering more smiles and giggles at bath time.

The NO MORE TEARS™ Wiggle Giggle Bath Book by author William Meldrum with illustrations by Hannah Robinson, celebrates the special bonding moments of the age-old ritual of bath time. It also recognises the special bond parents, grandparents, preschool teachers and other special carers create when they read to babies and toddlers.

Johnson & Johnson Pacific Pty Ltd has been a supporter of Barnardos for the past five years and has raised close to $500,000 to date. They will continue their commitment to Barnardos with the proceeds of the book and 10 cents from every JOHNSON'S® baby NO MORE TEARS® product sold in May donated to the children's charity.
