As  part of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month presented by Citi,  renowned chef Rene Redzepi, the creative genius behind Noma restaurant  in Copenhagen will headline a series of events including The Great  Australian Dinner at The Star.  
Ten of Australia's most  inspiring chefs will join forces to put Australia on a plate. In line  with Rene Redzepi's philosophy of 'time and place", Neil Perry, Peter  Gilmore, David Chang, Martin Benn, Dan Hunter, Mark Best, Kylie Kwong,  Ben Greeno, Brent Savage and James Viles each create their own personal  expression of Australian cuisine for a landmark four course dinner.  Guest of honour Rene Redzepi will speak on the night (and take care of  first course!).
Expect ideas, conversation and debate,  fascinating food and plenty of surprises at one of the most important  events of the culinary year.

The event will reveal a  candid and deeply personal insight into the mind and creative workings  of Rene Redzepi, the chef behind the restaurant three times named first  on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list. This is your chance to hear  from of the most significant figures in modern gastronomy. 
In  the intimate surrounds of the Playhouse, Rene Redzepi will speak frankly  about his journey to the top, the challenges, triumphs, reflections and  realisations about the pressures of being in the culinary limelight –  and maintaining creativity and collaboration in the process.

The  Night Noodle Markets is the landmark Good Food Month event and has been  since its inception in 1998. Last year close on 200,000 guests came to  Hyde Park to soak up the authentic Asian hawker market atmosphere. This  year Hyde Park North will be transformed for three fabulous weeks,  including Saturday nights for the first time.
With up to 40 food  stalls, bars and nightly entertainment this is the must-do event of the  month. Some of your favourite Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide  Asian eateries will be there dishing up everything from authentic Thai  desserts to Peking duck pancakes and Shanghai-style soup-dumplings.
Whether  you're meeting friends after work, or entertaining the family, the  Night Noodle Markets has something for everyone this October.
The Sydney Morning Herald Growers' Market 15th Birthday Bash

As  part of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month presented by Citi,  The Growers' Market at Pyrmont will be celebrating its 15th year with a  special event at the popular Pyrmont Growers Market on the first  Saturday of October.  
Join in on the party as a group of  fresh-produce-focussed chefs take to the Market Chef stage for a very  special morning of demonstrations, talks, tips and tastings. Plus coffee  from Harvey Norman's expert barista team. We're doing Breakfast,  Brunch, Birthday Cake and Lunch sessions with well-known food  personalities such as Gourmet Farmer Matthew Evans.
