The Potbelleez to Headline the Malibu Sunset Social

Australian dance act The Potbelleez today announced they will headline the 2008 Malibu Sunset Social, an honour that was last year held by Sneaky Sound System.

Having recently achieved national success with their single Dont Hold Back reaching number five on the ARIA Top 50 Singles chart and number three on the BigPond Download chart, The Potbelleez will be flying to Perth direct from the Hong Kong leg of their current tour.

"Were looking forward to putting on an awesome show at this years Malibu Sunset Social. Last years Social rocked and were planning to top it," said Dave and Jonny from The Potbelleez.

The Malibu Sunset Social will be held at the Boardwalk Tavern on the Gold Coast on Sunday 11 May 2008 with The Potbelleez to be supported by a host of acts including local talent The Stafford Brothers and Melburnian trio Dirty Laundry.

The Boardwalk Tavern Operations Manager Sam Stewart of said of the partnership, "We are very excited to have The Potbelleez and Dirty Laundry performing at the Malibu Sunset Social, its a perfect fit to celebrate an endless summer with Malibu®".
