The Australian Festival of Chamber Music (AFCM), recognised as Australia's most prestigious international chamber music event, today announced dates for its sought after Winterschool Advanced Masterclass programme for 2013 and the Young String Ensemble Workshop.

Applications for the 2013 Winterschool programmes will open on March 6th next year, when the AFCM programme is launched, offering an opportunity for pre-professional individuals and ensembles to further their musical careers. The festival is held in Townsville, North Queensland.
